Bridal
Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
Yes. We like to work one on one with our brides and so bridal appointments are required. However, we will do our best to accommodate walk-in customers when possible. [Click here to schedule an appointment].
If I'm a plus size customer, will your store be able to assist me?
Absolutely! Many of the sizes and styles that we carry will be available and in stock for plus-sized Brides, Bridesmaids and Mothers. However, should your desired style not be in stock, we will make every attempt to accomodate your special order.
Pageant
How far in advance should I buy my pageant gown?
The earlier you shop the better. Most of our pageant girls purchase gowns off the rack, but if a gown needs to be special ordered many pageant dresses can take up to 3 months to arrive.
Prom/Party
When should I start shopping for my prom dress?
The earlier the better! We receive hundreds of prom gowns as early as January and February, and so the earlier you shop, the better the selection.
Alterations
How do alterations work?
Formal gowns come in stock sizes only and are designed to be tailored to your figure for a perfect fit. Alterations should be expected for the majority of gowns (the most common alterations include hemming, adjusting straps, and taking in the bodice). Wedding Belles is proud to provide all customers with customized, in-house alterations should you need them. Please keep in mind that alterations normally require a secondary appointment to be scheduled in advance. Costs for alterations may vary, please consult with staff at time of purchase.
General Questions
What is your return policy?
Due to the special nature of the formal wear industry there are no returns, exchanges or credits. All items are considered a final sale including layaways and special orders. This is our policy in both our retail store and our online store.
How long will my appointment take?
Appointments generally will last up to one hour.
What should I bring to my appointment?
If possible, please bring any pictures of dresses/accessories that you are interested in so far, these can be from either websites viewed or hard copy formats from magazines, etc. This will help our staff identify your style preferences prior to your store visit.
What are the benefits of shopping at an independently-owned boutique store?
The benefits of shopping for your dress and accessories at an independently-owned "boutique" store are endless. Namely, you will receive personalized front-end attention, customized on-site alterations and peace-of-mind knowing that our seasoned staff provides expert knowledge to each and every customer, whether your occasion is Bridal, Pageant or Prom/Party.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks and credit cards. (Visa, Mastercard and Discover)
Can I schedule a private appointment?
Although Wedding Belles has normal store hours of Monday-Friday, 10-6 (Wednesday 10-7) Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 1-4 (Summer Hours by appointment only), private appointments may be scheduled with a store consultant. Please contact store for details.
Does Wedding Belles carry Men's Formalwear/Tuxedos?
Wedding Belles does now carry match-to-color menswear for the groom and groomsmen, or on a limited individual basis for prom/party. Please contact store for details.
Does Wedding Belles accept payment plans for items purchased?
Certainly. For any dress purchased in stock, Wedding Belles will provide our customers with exceptionally flexible payment plans in order to ensure our customers acquire that perfect dress. Please discuss with store consultant at the time of purchase payment options on desired item if in stock. For special orders, Wedding Belles will require a 50% down payment to secure and initiate the purchase of your selected dress.
